Community Trends

The Community Trends Work Group of the GOW CARES Alliance focuses on reporting, analyzing, and synthesizing current data and trends to inform data-driven decision-making of the Alliance and the wider community.   They will also work to collaborate and share information across agencies and organizations to reduce overdose and suicide fatalities.

Community Education

The Community Education Work Group is responsible for planning/organizing educational events in the community including the GOW CARES Alliance Quarterly Meetings.  The group works to raise public awareness through articles and stories that break down stigma. This group is also responsible for the planning/organizing of Overdose Awareness Day activities.

Safer Choices

The Safer Choices Work Group focuses on promoting multiple pathways to recovery, preventing obstacles to treatment, exploring harm reduction strategies that fit our community, and getting resources to those in need.

The Resource Hub Work Group develops strategic ways to share information, builds GOW CARES Alliance membership, and explores strategies for info sharing and resources for the community as well as Alliance Partners.
